We did "it"
So DH and I hadn't done the deed since we conceived in July. I was nervous about it even though I know that sex was not the cause of our other losses. In my head I planned to wait until at least 15 weeks if not 20 but the hormones got the best of me this morning and we did it. I was still nervous the whole time and went immediately to the bathroom to check for spotting (none!) and then used my doppler to check for heartbeat (strong!). So I guess it was a success. I'm a little sore but I think that has more to do with not having had sex for 4 months, no cramps or anything like that. So DH is a very happy boy (but wow what patience on his part).

lucky you! I was going to after or just before the 16 week appointment, but then DH was out of town, and after he got back, these darn contractions started up. So now it's no call and pelvic rest for me. I don't think I've had sex since March. At the rate we're going, it'll be over a year after that that we'll be able to get it on again. I'm feeling pretty sorry for DH.

ReplyDeleteWe haven't dtd in a long time. Dr H told us not to in the first tri - which was so hard because I had raging hormones - then I wasn't in the mood for most of 2nd tri, but now that I'm back into the swing of things, DH is too scared!
