You've got to be kidding me!
So we finally got our anatomy scan today and baby would not open her legs. I say "her" because it's looking like a girl but they could not say that with any real certainty. Baby also would not move her hands out of her face so they couldn't get any good facial shots and so we have to go back in 2 weeks to try again. Hopefully we will have confirmation of gender then. I do have a mild case of placenta previa and it will need to be followed up closer to 30 weeks. If it hasn't moved up then it's a definite C-section for me.

Well, I'm glad to hear that everything the looked at looked good! Thank her for having her hands up hiding her face too, cause otherwise you'd have been out of luck in terms of confirming her gender. I'm sure they wouldn't bring you back just for that. :)
ReplyDeleteNo they wouldn't but I think they tech didn't try to hard to see the face so that we could come back. Either way there will be another u/s around 28 weeks to check on the placenta.
