Here's the recipe for my green smoothie that I have for breakfast every morning whether I'm pregnant or not. It's full of spinach which is a great source of folate and it's yummy!
In a blender add:
7 whole frozen strawberries
1 banana
2 large handfuls of baby spinach
a splash of OJ and water to thin it all out
blend until smooth and enjoy!

It doesn't taste totally like spinach? Otherwise it sounds good. I should start making things like this, rather than just eating Life ceral without milk!

ReplyDeleteyep, i do this from time to time! i have to thin it out a lot and blend it super-fine, otherwise i gag on the spinach leaves. lol
