So I pulled out my trusty doppler and decided to try it just for the heck of it and I was totally not expecting to hear anything this early but I did. I found the little bean and listened for at least a min or two before I lost it. It was 155bpm and the greatest sound. Wow what a great day. I'm in such a good mood now!

    OK, now you're making me wish I'd bought a doppler myself. I'm getting anxious again 5 days post ultrasound. Ugh. I can't believe you can hear it already! 155 is a great HR for this gestational age, so congrats!

    I forgot to ask: which doppler do you have? Must be darn good to pick up the FHR so early on.

    It was agift from my mom during my last pregnancy. I know she bought it new on eBay but I'm unsure of the brand. It wasn't super expensive ($100) so I'm surprised it works so well!
